Full Description

A post-medieval boundary dyke (site 19) was surveyed by West Coast Archaeological Services in March 2013 during a walkover survey in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. This feature was found in survey area 3. The boundary dyke was made of stone and turf. The bank was 1.8m at its maximum width and up to 0.8m in height. The dyke was in a very degraded condition at the time of surveying. <1>
