Full Description

A ruinous medieval, or post-medieval, farmstead. The ruins consisted of a house, animal byre, and possible kale yard. The site appears as a habitated farm named Woodend on the 1st Edition OS Map, and so dates to, at latest, 1881.

A photographic survey was carried out by D Liley in March 2013, to comply with a condition on a planning application.<1>
