Full Description
The site was visited and photographed by D Glass in July 2011. he described the site as:
"A chalybeate spring on the foreshore near Faoileann. The spring issues into a small pool contained by a stone slab, dressed square, on the north (seaward side) and by stones placed on the east, west and south sides. Water from the spring flows over the slab. The spring is below the high tide mark. " <1>
