Full Description

The site was visited and photographed by D Glass in April 2013. he described the site as:
"A stone-built circular stell situated approximately 200 metres South West of the farmstead of Buailemor. The stell is 9 metres external diameter and has an entrance on the South side. The walls have been reduced in height, possibly to provide stone for constructing a U-shaped shelter within the stell. The shelter is roofless and consists of crudely built stone walls. The closed end of the shelter overlies the wall of the stell.
The stell is depicted as a Sheepfold on the First Series OS Six Inch map." <1>
