THIS MEMORIAL WAS FIRST RESTORED TO COMMEMORATE THE MILLENNIUM OF CHRISTIANITY IN SCOTLAND 966 - 1966 AND WAS DEDICATED BY THE BISHOP OF ABERDEEN ON 22nd MAY 1966

In 1987 Ross and Cromarty District Council renovated the monument and replaced the garden previously provided by Invergordon Town Council
