Full Description

Possible circular earthwork showing on 1991-2001 vertical APs to the south of the Loch Duich Hotel and to the immediate north of what appears to be an ornamental horse shoe-shaped pond with external bank. Neither of the two features, however, are depicted on any OS map edition, historic or recent, and on other APs there is nothing visible at the site of the possible earthwork.

The site was reported by a member of the public who had been aware of the site since he was a child. Locally it is thought to be the site of a castle. <1>
