Full Description

A C19-C20 railway water tank in Invergordon. Now removed, although the base survives.

The site was investigated in 2015 as part of the ARCH project 'Invergordon in World War I'. A water tank for railway use is depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. The base still survives, although the tank does not. <1>
