Full Description

A hut circle was recorded by M Wildgoose in 2003 during a walkover survey in advance of a proposed forestry Woodland Grant Scheme. It was one of three recorded close to each other (see also MHG38869 & MHG57220). Immediately to the south of MHG38869 is a second, less well preserved ring-bank which measures 12m in diameter. An entrance faces to the southeast. Within this ring-bank is an upright stone 0.6m high. <1>
