Coishletter 3
On both sides of the modern wire fence at about 40m OD is a ruinous group of turf and stone structures, comprising a longhouse aligned E-W with a second structure, perhaps a byre, attached by a short length of turf dyke to its SE corner. The two structures form the NE side of a turf dyked enclosure. A curving length of turf dyke leads off the southern corner of this enclosure, terminating in a marshy area 30m to the south.
Information from R Miket, October 1989.
