Full Description

NG41SW 1 4377 1273 to 4328 1304.

(NG 4377 1273) A group of 8 shielings is situated S of Loch Doir' a' Chreamha. Each has a central chamber c. 6ft in diameter with two smaller chambers jutting out, one either side. There are two more remains (at NG 4328 1304) W of the loch.
Visited by OS (E C) undated.

A single unroofed shieling-hut (NG 4325 1295) is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xlix). The location of two shieling-huts are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1986).
