Full Description

There are four mounds and three huts in this group of shielings, of which all but one are located on the N bank of the Allt a' Chaim. Three of the mounds display the remains of two-cell huts on top, but one of these (633), the most westerly of the group, has a third cell, defined by an arc of a bank around the NW side of the mound. A boundary bank runs along the N bank of the burn, but does not impinge upon any of the shielings. Another bank, which runs along the S bank of the burn at this point, has a small stone pen built against its N side.
(WAT90 633-639)
