Full Description

NG25SE 14 2976 5384.

Situated beside one of the burns that form the headwaters of the Allt Suardale is a group of at least five shieling-mounds. The smallest measures 7m in diameter by 0.6m in height, but the largest, which may well have originated as two separate mounds, measures 16m by 8m and 1m in height. A small oval hut lies immediately S of one of the mounds. (WAT90 1458-62)
