Full Description
A shieling-mound and a pen lie about 20m apart on either side of a boundary bank in gently sloping rough ground. A low grassy mound, some 15m in length, lies to the W of the bank, with a C-shaped kerb of boulders; these may be the remains of a hut measuring 4m in diameter on top of it. Some 10m E of the boundary bank at NG 2489 6070 is a narrow pen, defined by a kerb of boulders, which measures 7.5m from N to S by 1m transversely.
