Full Description

NG25NE 1.06 2555 5925.

Two buildings and an enclosure are situated around a sheepfold some 110m WSW of Dun Hallin. The building to the W measures 15m from WSW to ENE by 3.7m within a bank spread to 1.7m and standing 0.5m in height. That to the E measures 7m from WSW to ENE by 3.6m transversely within grass-grown footings 1.1m thick and 0.3m in height. Neither structure is depicted on earlier maps, although the sheepfold, which appears to overlie them, is shown on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey map of 1880 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire 1880, sheet ix).
