Full Description

NG25NE 16.18 2686 5629.

There are four buildings in a croft on the N side of the Lusta Burn to the W of the public road. Two are rectangular structures and two are round-ended. Of the former, one, a two-compartment building, lies adjacent to the road and is shown as roofed on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey Map of 1880 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire 1880, sheet xv). The two round-ended buildings are connected and may be coeval). The main structure measures 16.8m from NW to SE by 3.5m transversely within low banks spread to 1.2m in thickness; the second structure is attached to the middle of its NE side and measures at least 8m from ENE to WSW by 3m transversely. These two structures may pre-date the crofting township.
