Full Description

NG25NE 16.27 2671 5587.

This building, which is situated near the edge of the sea-cliff at the SW end of a croft on the W of Lusta, measures 11.8m from NNE to SSW by 4.3m transversely within rubble-faced walls 1m in thickness by 0.5m in height. The building is shown as roofed on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey map of 1880 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1880, sheet xv). Halfway up the croft on a natural terrace, a farmstead (NG 2691 5596), now used as a sheepfold, which is mapped on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey map (ibid), has been altered out of all recognition.
