Full Description

NG25NE 16.31 2638 5619.

This gabled rectangular building, which is situated on the foreshore 200m to the S of Stein, measures 9.2m from NNW to SSE by 4.1m transversely within rubble-faced walls 0.7m in thickness and 2.2m in height, with a central door between two windows to the W side and a single central window to the rear. Both gables have a fireplace and a single stone scarcement. The 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey map of 1880 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1880, sheet xv) depicts two roofed buildings at this location, of which this may be the more southerly.
