Full Description

NG35SW 59 3449 5483.

This farmstead is situated about 150m above the shore of Loch Greshornish and 600m NNE of Greshornish Farm. The remains of three buildings are visible, one of which, the best preserved, has subsequently been converted into a sheepfold. Measuring some 13.6m in length and 3.6m in breadth, its walls still stand 1.2m in height and its entrance was in the NNE end. What are probably the remains of an earlier building protrude at right-angles from beneath the ESE wall and there is an enclosure on the WNW. The third building lies on the line of a field-bank some 30m to the WSW. Around the farmstead there is a series of large fields, which extend across the terraces to the S, as far as the improved fields of Greshornish Farm.
