Full Description

NG25SE 8.01 2746 5366.

An enclosure, defined by a sub-peat dyke of orthostatic stones, is situated to the N of the Allt an t'Sluic Mhoir on the W slopes of Beinn Chreagach. It is roughly four-sided and measures 62m from ENE to WSW by 58m transversely. A kink in its SW corner and traces of another sub-peat dyke running from the corner of the kink to the ENE, suggest a sub-division or an earlier phase. Inside the enclosure, on a natural terrace, is an oval rubble-built structure, 3m across from N to S, with a cell on its E side, which measures 2.5m in diameter. The W side has collapsed down the grassy slope of the terrace.
