Full Description

Lying on a rocky knoll surrounded by birch trees to the N of Brochel Castle (NG54NE 1) are the remains of two stone-built structures. The larger structure measures 15.0m E-W by 6m N-S over walls 0.8m thick; a subcircular annexe is attached to the S wall. The small structure measures 9m NE-SW by 4.5m NW-SE over walls 0.6m thick.
