Full Description

NG26SW 11.02 2260 6155.

A substantial kiln-barn is situated on the S side of an unnamed burn; it measures 16m from NE to SW by 4.8m transversely within walls 1.6m thick and up to 1.5m in height. Although the SW end has been considerably reduced, it appears to have been round-angled. Large boulders are incorporated in the walling, and there may be an entrance in the SW end of the SE side. The kiln-bowl is in the NE end and is off-set to the N, with the bowl measuring 2.8m from NW to SE by 2.2m transversely.
