Full Description

There are at least ten buildings on the S side of a burn to the E of the public road. Eight are relatively closely grouped around a row of four buildings aligned from NE to SW. Most have been robbed and reduced by cultivation.
A substantial banks has been built along the N side of an old stream channel and to the NNW of the cluster of buildings a further substantial bank has been built, creating a subrectangular 'pond'. The bank on the N side continues to the W to a subrectangular depression apparently cut into the channel. A scarp continues from the depression along the S side of the channel. The location of this feature in a stream channel and the presence of a 'pond' may indicate that this feature was a mill. (WAT90 1051-1060; 1090)
Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 29 September 1990.
