Full Description

A hut-circle, two sub-peat dykes and a patch of narrow rig were located on the N end of the Druim a'Chaim some 700m NNE of Bay.
The hut-circle is situated on the E side of the Druim a'Chaim in peat-covered ground; it measures 7m in diameter within a stone-faced bank 2.3m in thickness and 0.6m in height, which thickens to 3m on the W side of the SE facing entrance. There are the traces of a stone-built hut inside.
A short length of sub-peat dyke runs in an arc of boulders to the W and S of the hut-circle. A much longer sub-peat dyke, which is cut into two portions each about 100m in length by a field-boundary, extends for nearly 250m from N to S some 40m to the E of the hut-circle (NG 2709 5502 to NG 2710 5479).
About 150m to the N of the hut-circle, not far from the cliff, there is an area of narrow rig, 1m to 1.5m in width, visible in the grass where there is no peat cover.
