NH86NW 6 803 664.

NH 803 664. A number of small cairns are scattered in improved pasture on the ridge to the NE of the OS triangulation station on Gallow Hill. RCAHMS 1979.

The turf- or heather-covered mounds, of which there are two or three dozen, are field clearance heaps of the type usually associated with hut circles.
