Full Description

On the SE side of the hillfort (NH 57 SE 8) are numerous tumuli, and to the W of it is a hut circle.
W J Watson 1904.

No trace of this hut circle or the alleged tumuli could be found in the area which is now afforested. In 1963 E G Cameron noted that the "tumuli" were clearance heaps most of which had been destroyed by afforestation.
Visited by OS (E G C) 16 May 1963 and (A A) 17 November 1970.

No change to previous field report.
Visited by OS (J B) 22 November 1976.
