Full Description

NG62SW 61 6110 2012

Close by the southern side of the Broadford to Torrin road and at a point where a feeder stream to Loch Kilchrist passes beneath the road is an intensive area of rig cultivation which measures some 70m by 100m. At one point it appears that the rig continues beyond the road down to the loch suggesting that the line of the road may post-date the cultivation. Visited by J Jack 5 April 1990.
