Buaile na Fala (NR) (Site of Conflict between the Macleods and Macdonalds AD 1539)
OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1904)

A large cairn situated close to the east of the site is said to contain the bones of the slain. Meaning of name - Bloody Fold. (For cairn see NG45SW 1)
Name Book 1878.

The area is indicated is still traditionally known as the site of a battle.
