Centred 499 676.

NG 499 676. A cave or rock shelter near Staffin was found by Mr Dugald Ross (D Ross, 7 Ellishader, Skye). It has the remains of a stone fireplace and inside were found the remains of at least 6 craggans, one complete (see photo on NG46NE 15).
Information contained in letters from J Close-Brooks (NMAS) 27 March and 1 September 1975.
