(NG 555 458) Manish More: depopulated before 1877.
OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1904)

Manish More comprises about 10 ruined houses. There are lazy-beds to N and E.
The township was probably depopulated by Mr Rainy of Edinburgh, who bough the island of Raasay in 1846 (Information from Miss Nicholson, 'Eilean Tigh', Raasay, and from Mr Macleod, shoemaker, Clachan, Raasay). Visited by OS (A S P) 12 June 1961

Seven unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, a short length of wall and an enclosure are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xxiv). Ten unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
