Full Description

NG54SE 18 5835 4130

On the edge of an area of gently sloping ground, at the top of the steep slope from the sea, at about 150m above OD is a boulder built hut circle. The wall still stands to 1.3m in most places and is over 1.3m wide, both inner and outer faces are visible and in the NE sector there are two large upright stones which may represent the position of the door opening. A level platform of stones lies in front of this 'door'. The circle has an internal diameter of 6.0m. A rather indistinct feature of subrectangular shape measuring 6m by 4m lies to the N. Visited by A Johnstone, 25 March 1991.
R Miket et al 1991; NMRS MS/530.
