Full Description

NG60NW 7 6235 0630

Two circular mounds of turf; there is no visible stonework, so they could be natural features, but they are suspiciously symmetrical and similar in size. Half of the more southerly one has been dug out and replaced by a crude structure of stone measuring 5.8 x 3 x 5m. The
walls consist of single large blocks, in places reaching a height of 0.5m.
Visited by P Stansfield, 9 June 1990.
