Full Description
NG50NE 8 5845 0858.
Lying on the green by the shore 300m to the west of Gillean, at a height of about 10m OD are the ruinous remains of three rectangular houses.
All have rounded external corners and square internal angles.
Building A (at NG 5844 0859) measures 7.5m by 3.1m over walls 0.5m thick.
Building B (at NG 5844 0858) measures 9m by 5m over walls 0.6m thick. A small annex is attached to the NW wall.
Bulding C (at NG 5842 0856) measures 9m by 5m over walls 0.8m thick. A door opening faces NE in the cenre of NE wall.
All three structures are aligned roughly NW-SE.
