Full Description

NG53NE 27 5920 3835.

At the SW corner of a large enclosure within the bounds of the settlement of Hallaig is a small stone-lined pit. Measuring 2.5m by 1.8m and 1m deep the pit has a well built lining which averages 0.5m in thickness. There is no obvious entrance through the walls, access must therefore have been gained from above.
