NG26SE 19 2683 6085.
The remains of a fish-curing station, which is depicted on the second edition of the Ordnance Survey map of 1904 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1904, sheet ix), are situated at the foot of the cliffs below Geary. They comprise a stone-built platform with a parapet along its seaward edge and a building at its N end. The platform measures some 17.5m in length and, together with its parapet, stands to a height of 2m above the beach; the building measures 4.3m from N to S by 3.5m internally. What may be a drain issues from the base of the N end of the platform. Fragments of a second, but smaller structure, lie 20m to the N and the remains of a stone-built slipway can be seen at the foot of the path leading up the cliff some 30m to the S.
