Towards the W end of a spur on the N side of the Berry Burn, and set slightly down on the S side, is a farmstead comprising three buildings, an enclosure and a kiln-barn. To SE of farmstead are three buildings terraced into the slope to varying degrees and measuring no more than 5.8m by 2.2m within stony footings 0.6m thick and 0.3m in height.
The kiln-barn measures 10.4m by 3.3m within wall footings 0.8m thick and 0.3m in height. The kiln-bowl measures 2m in diameter and 0.75m in height in four courses. Of buildings to NE, one has been truncated by a track while another has what may be a small bed-neuk or alcove, 1.4m wide, and an outshot to the E. Fragmentary ridging measuring up to 6m between furrows is visible in the improved ground to the N.
