NH84NE 10 875 467.

There are traces of iron-working at Clunes (Clunas: NH 881 464) above Cawdor Castle (NH84NW 1) at the S side of the road.
W I Macadam 1893.

No local information. Visited by OS (N K B) 21 January 1971.

Macadam's statement is supported by a report of possible iron slag or bloom being found in ploughing in 1978 at NH 875 467. Site inaccessible at date of visit. RCAHMS 1978, visited 1978.
