Full Description
(Henshall 1963). A large, upright stone stands at the edge of a flat field. It is of conglomerate sandstone, 7ft 3ins high and 3ft by 2ft at base.
According to Fraser (1884) it is the last surviving stone of a Clava-type cairn, the other large stones having been broken up or buried in first half of last century. Some of them were buried where they stood.

This stone, at NH 8573 5075, is as described above. No further information could be obtained locally, and there is no trace of a cairn.
Surveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (RD) 22 November 1965.
A single standing stone situated in a ploughed field is all that
remains of this Clava cairn.
