NC00NW 17 0415 0569
Situated on left bank of the Allt Ach' a Bhraighe below the Youth Hostel. Reported to R Gourlay, Highland Region Archaeologist by Mr Miller, Acheninver Croft.
Info from R Gourlay, 15 September 1988.
The site of this mill was not visible on date of visit, due partly to the covering of bracken and partly to construction of a sewage-system for nearby Youth Hostel. However, a narrow rectilinear feature aligned from ENE to WSW, which may be the lining of a lade, was mapped to W of the Youth Hostel at NC 0418 5070.
The mill is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Cromartyshire 1881, sheet vii).
