This complex of dry-stone buildings and enclosures represents a large farm which was roofless by 1869.

A farmstead comprising six unroofed buildings, one of which has an attached enclosure, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871-5-6, sheet xi). Four unroofed buildings and an enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1976).
