Full Description

A stone axehead found at Hanover (NH 967 531), was donated to NMAS by the Earl of Cawdor (Acc No: AF 1015).

According to the farmer at Hanover, the axe was found in 1961 at NH 9669 5313 by workmen laying an electric cable between farm outbuildings. Surveyed at 1:2500.
