Full Description

NH84NW 11 80 47 to 81 48.

A chapel was discovered at Galcantray a few years ago by the farmer in reclaiming some land.
G Bain 1893.

There is no local knowledge of a chapel in the area of Wester or Easter Galcantray.
Visited by OS (N K B) 13 August 1964.

No identifiable traces survive of a chapel in this vicinity; local tradition records the former existence of a graveyard at NH 810 483. RCAHMS 1978, visited May 1978.
