Rectilinear enclosure: possible mortuary structure.
(Undated) information in NMRS.

A mortuary enclosure has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1989, 1996, 2000) lying at the base of a low hill on the E bank of the River Nairn. It is rectilinear on plan with squared ends and measures about 65m WNW-ESE by about 8m within a ditch about 2m wide. A large irregular oblong pit lies in the WNW end and cropmarks on the NNE side suggest further similar features outside the enclosure.

Information from RCAHMS (KMM) 2 December 2004
