The Fairy Hillock or Witches' Hillock is an artificial mound on the sea-bank, probably a moot-hill.
G Bain 1893.

The mound is completely overgrown with gorse, which made it impossible to take measurements, and appears to be natural.
However the flattish top is about 4m diameter and maximum height on N side is 3.5 metres.
Visited by OS (E G C) 29 November 1961.
