NH67SE 31 682 736.

NH 682 736. Cairns, Newmore Wood: In 1976 three cairns measuring about 4m in diameter were recorded in this area, which is now buried in a forestry plantation.
J E Kirby 1976; RCAHMS 1979.

The alleged cairns were not positively located. Three stony mounds, probably stone clearance heaps, occur in the wood about 100m SW of the given location.
