Full Description

NH58SE 2 566 835

A building is situated on heather moorland on the N bank of the Allt Coire Bhenneit. Overall it measures 12.5m in length by up to 3m in breadth over walls from 0.3m to 0.6m in height; it appears to have three compartments, each with its entrance in the S wall, but the E compartment (3m in length) is narrow and may be an outshot, while the W compartment (4m in length) is more substantially built than the rest of the building and may be of later date. A small annexe is formed by an arc of bank attached to the outshot. The enclosure lies 50m to the E and is defined by a wall up to 0.8m in height.
Visited by RCAHMS (SPH) 14 November 1989.
