Silver coin found (NAT)
OS 6" map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., (1907)

In building a new wall round the churchyard two years ago (ie. 1838) a small coin of James VI was discovered. It is of silver about the size of a sixpence, and is now in the possession of the author.
NSA 1845.

No further information was found regarding the coin during field investigation.
Visited by OS (W D J) 21 May 1963.
