NC40SE 13 4794 0005
Massive low walls, up to 15ft across, enclosed quadrilateral areas of poorly drained hillside. Natural walls have ditches running centrally. T C Welsh 1968.
Nothing of archaeological interest was found in the area which has been disturbed by tree felling. The marshy ground below is covered by an extensive pattern of drainage ditches. Relatively recent stone banks of linear clearance have been formed on the fringe of the marshy ground. Visited by OS (JB) 22 September 1976.
