'Gille Chaointeart' is the site of an old chapel, dedicated to St. Kentigerna, on the south side of Loch Duich.
The burial ground is now disused, the last burial taking place about 1870.
W J Watson 1899 and 1904; D MacDonald, A Polson and J Brown 1931.

The Grave Yard at NG 908 207 is modern. Local enquiries indicate that the old burial ground may have been near the road, where the ground is flat, between the modern Grave Yard (NG 908 207) and Ard-an-eoin (NG 9014 2136), althougn no remains of a burial ground or chapel can now be seen.
The ground rises sharply from the road and is thickly afforested, to within c. 60.0m. of the road.
Visited by OS (R L) 27 September 1966.
