Site of Cairn (NR) Human Remains found 1811.
OS 6" map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., (1907)

Woodham (1956) could find no trace of this cairn site. The cairn was removed in 1811 when 'human bones of a gigantic size' were found in it. Name Book 1871; NSA 1845; A A Woodham 1956.

Published site in an area of afforestation. No trace.
Visited by OS (R B) 13 January 1966.
