Full Description

A kidney-shaped, heather-covered mound, 15m by 25m by 1.5m high, beside a burn.
R J Mercer 1980.

The above mound applies to one of four shieling mounds centred at NC 989 505, on N side of Abhainn nam Bruach Dubha. The mounds vary from 15m by 12m to 10m by 8m and stand to a maximum height of 0.8m; traces of bothy footings indicate their shieling nature.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 17 February 1982.
